About Us

Dr. Rebecca Dimmerling, D.Ac, L.Ac, Dipl.Ac (NCCAOM)

I am Dr. Rebecca Dimmerling, a dedicated practitioner specializing in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. My journey into healthcare began in high school as an Emergency Medical Technician and evolved through my service as a medic and nurse in the military. It was during my time in the armed forces that I first encountered the transformative practice of battlefield acupuncture. Witnessing its profound impact on health and well-being inspired me to dedicate my career to acupuncture and integrative medicine.

I earned both my master’s and doctorate degrees in acupuncture, with a specialization in Chinese herbal medicine, from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Over the years, I’ve combined my expertise with a passion for education and research, serving as adjunct faculty in the bioscience department at MUIH and as a research analyst and subject matter expert for the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence.

In my practice, I blend my extensive background in Western medical sciences with the time-honored principles of Eastern medicine. This integrated approach allows me to provide holistic, compassionate care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. My goal is to help my patients achieve balance, relief, and a renewed sense of vitality.

It is an honor to guide my patients on their wellness journey, and I remain deeply committed to helping others thrive through the art and science of acupuncture.
