Hello, I’m Dr. Rebecca Dimmerling, DAc, specializing in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. My journey in healthcare kicked off when I was in high school, working as an Emergency Medical Technician, and continued as I served as a medic and nurse during my military tenure. It was during my time in the armed forces that I encountered the fascinating practice of battlefield acupuncture. Impressed by its profound impact on well-being, I was inspired to focus my career exclusively on acupuncture and related therapies.
I obtained both a master’s and a doctorate in acupuncture, along with a specialization in Chinese herbal medicine, from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Beyond running Mountain View Acupuncture, I also serve as a subject matter expert for the military’s TBICoE (Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence).
In my clinic, I harmonize my diverse background in Western medical practices with my deeply-rooted beliefs in Eastern medicinal philosophies, creating a holistic approach to wellness.
